Hi all. Very soon now I will be getting my 3" turbo back exhaust.

I was just reading through the meggala site and noticed that the car will run really rich once this mod is done.

What Im asking is it then necessary to get one of these SAFC to control this richness or is there another way. Does it actually cause any engine damage?

I will eventually get a SAFC but prob not for a year.

So it will be alright getting the exhaust done without the SAFC although one would obviously be beneficial?

I have only seen the APEXI SAFC II's that seem to sell for $500-700.

Are there any cheaper SAFC to choose from and what are the costs associated with installing one of these.

Also, once I get the exhaust, would it be beneficial to get a dyno tune or just resest the ECU

    • I would call it the "manifold coolant outlet" or something like that.  If you know the dimensions you can just get a bit of mild steel (or stainless) pipe that is the correct size, bead roll a hose retaining lip into the end of it and bash it in! Or, get fancy-  https://boostdoc.com.au/products/rb25-neo-billet-top-hose-outlets?srsltid=AfmBOopjNetVaMphRC0x44Er2jwO2k5vPp-4AGG5Bd285Ah0SsXXGk3e

    • Help! Can anyone tell me what this part is called? Mines a rusted mess as you can see in attached photo and I'm struggling to find a replacement for it anywhere because I simply don't know what to search up. It's on my intake manifold and I believe the top radiator hose attaches to it. If anyone also knows where to buy one from that information would be greatly appreciated aswell 😊
