So I got a few prices to machine up the bound for the crank trigger senaor for around 500-600 so I figured this was a cheaper more exciting path.....

So I've almost got everything together to come up the mount for the Crank Trigger sensor. I decided seeing I dont run AC that I would use this mounting point as its close by and offers good stable mounting.

So This is the design I will likely go with for the main arm, I haven't come up with the holder for the sensor yet as i'll likely just wing it.

Well I've been a little busy of late and finally had a few hours well more like 5 to start machining up tje crank sensor mount. Currently about 75% complete

Be kind I haven't used a mill in around 10 years!

Looks Great Cam, it certainly looks like a lot of work to do by hand. I bet you won't be making any extra ones to sell...

Small Update,

Crank Trigger mount is complete but not 100% satisfied that it will do the job and i'm worried about vibrations. Time will tell and I can always make v3.

Those hollowed out areas may have been better with a X left inside to reduce vibration flex/movement.

Also the sensor does not look square to the cutout wheel, it may be level but your approaching the wheel from below the crank center line, probably the sensor would be better turned a few degrees right.

Otherwise looks pretty good for someone having a go at home.

Sold it, wife and I split up so had no choice 50/50 and all that jazz.

Pretty sure the car got parted out straight away.
