If you have been in an RB26 with 2530s then you will realise with more compression, displacement and mutli throttles they are still not that responsive or really go anywhere under 4,500rpm. Maybes its the weight of the car that doesnt help either. But when they are on they are good things.

I suppose to your advantage is the fact that you have the same stroke as the RB26, only you are down a few ccs. I expect it to not really be hitting 18-20psi before 4,800rpm or so....at best....but will be interesting to see how it goes. Seems that this E85 stuff is a pretty good band-aid these days

As for the missing ingredient that coul deven help the response of your setup...well I am not telling, as what will my RB24 have over yours

How do you work that out Rolls?

Well on an rb20 a single 2530 is laggy and on an rb25 it comes on full song about 4k which is pretty decent but with the shorter stroke you are running and the fact you have two of them! Even on an rb26 two of them is laggy!

Well, hurry up and get this bad boy finished  I can only guess what the setup will be like.....but I can be sure there is no way it will be in and making meaningful boost, enough for 200rwkws at 4,000rpm. What are 2530s., 320HP? So you have about 650hp of turbo to get spinning. Think a single 2530 on an RB20, then on a CA18....you are trying to spool one up with a CA12 minus one cylinder.

So not saying done do it, there is merit for going wins when chasing 350rwkws. Only be sure your expectations are realistic so not to be disappointed

...and my mates R33 had a 2530 on an RB25. No way it waited until 4,00rpm to come on. The thing was too responsive as it was always lighting up tyres. Best street car-230rwks going i think!
