R33 Sway Bars

Hi,

How thick are the stock R33 Gts-t swaybars?

I have been looking at buying set and the thickness is Front: 27.2 and Rear 23.0 -- they are non-adjustable -- Is this any good?

ohh.. my mistake they are hollow and those numbers are the wall diameter Front: 27.2 and Rear 23.0 (will i think its the wall diameter, not sure ... most of the info in jap )

a cheap way to increase swaybar stiffness is to get another stock one, 8 of those rubber mounts, 8 of those metal horseshoe mount holder things, 16 decent bolts

cut the ends off the swaybar (ie the bolt up links) and put two mounts in teh middle, and one on each end

match up the remaining 4 on the original swaybar, then bolt them together

alternatively use 4 agricultural hose clamps (big strong ones) and clamp them together

you will be suprised at the difference

Don't know what you are looking to spend but you might consider if you want adjustable bars versus non-adjustable. They aren't necessarily much more expensive. This will give you the ability to tune the suspension.
