Okay guys, I have been converted.

I am selling my s14 (200sx) and coming around to the straight six club.

But I am unsure on the variations within the r33 range, ie GTS-t, GTS25-t, etc. I have my heart set on the series two, but I am unsure of all the differences between a Series 1 and a Series 2.

If anyone knows a website or has the knowledge in listing ALL the differences between the two series, let me know.

See you all on the streets

Midnight Monkey: as mention do a search on the forum you will find plenty of threads.

Series 2 is definately the preferrable model to go for if you dont mine spending a little more.

Cheers

Just FYI:

The series 1 is not a lemon compared to series 2, as with Commodores and Falcons. If you can swing a series 2 for the price of a series 1 then go for it, but the differences are not all that great apart from styling. And I personally prefer the series 1 seats.

I hear plenty of people saying to steer clear of any series 1 VN or EA Falcon etc due to many faults in those cars, but there's really nothing wrong with the series 1 R33. The only thing "wrong" with it is it's missing a couple of features like passenger airbag. Many people tend to have that "series 1 is a lemon regardless" mentality though, so this can be used to pick up a bargain.

Edit: I didn't mean to sound so presumptuous. Presumption removed, but information remains.

The differences tend to be that the S2 has more features as standard.

ie. dual bags, abs, struts bars?

The appointments are slightly diff. like fittings, lights, bars. The bottom line is that there is nothing essentially different in a '93 to a '95 to a '96 (unlike say a VT or EA etc.)
