hi every1,

i just bought a 94, r33 gtst

planning to service it myself

* so any1 know which spark plugs r best for my car ?

* is "red line" oil suitable for my car ?

* and any sugestion of what other thing should i do with the servicing ?

* plus my car got this Nissan navgator/tv thing and its all in japanese, by any chance some has already come across this situation? is there a way of get it working in Australia ?

Engine Oil - Redline is a bit much if you're just gonna be driving it to work etc and the car is pretty much standard. Save your money and use Mobil 1 instead. If you mean gearbox oil etc then Redline is supposedly the best, but I have yet to try but someone will come along and tell you how good it is soon. :(

Plugs - You can get platinum plugs, but cheap NGKs will work just fine. Just make sure you gap them at 0.8 (im using BCPR6E - about 4 bucks each from Marlows).

Servicing - Any shop can do servicing for you or you could even try it yourself. If its just a routine service (every 5000kms) i just change the oil and oil filter and the plugs every 15000kms. Every 10,000 kms i send it to a performance shop just to make sure its all OK (more for my own peace of mind really).
