How Do You Get A Wire From Engine Bay Into Cabin

Quick question guys,

How do you guys get a wire from the engine bay into the cabin on the passenger side? I have to get the wiring loom for my EBC into the cabin...i have removed the grommet where the loom from the engine goes to the ecu but i can't find a way through into the cabin...car is a r32 gtst...can someone help me out? cheers...

drivers side is much easier in my experience.

I find it easiest to tape the wire to one of those long cable ties then push it through.

I tried that and a coat hanger, nothing would work for me so i ended up just drilling a few holes in the firewall and lining them to come out just above the break pedal mounting bracket (where the metal isn't reinforced and theres no carpet to get in the way

find a grommet and chuck it through with the shit going through that...

coat hangers are rather handy chuck that through first, tie your wire on the end of that then pull it through...

thanks for the reply fellas...i have tried the coat hanger method but it can't get thru...i would ideally like to have it on the passenger side as that is where the turbo sits...anyone have any other ideas? Cheers....

drill? some people dont like to drill into the body of a car... but there are holes all over the damn place... as long as it looks near IF you can see it, then its not a big deal...

I used the big grommet on the drivers side for my amp power and ebc wires. It comes out high and to the right of the gas pedal. I just taped the cabling to the end of a screwdriver and pushed it through.

coat hanger and beside the heater pipe lol works a dream....3 years and wires are fine
