ProphetR33
My girlfriend can't drive manual, and can barely drive an auto. She ain't going anywhere near the drivers seat of the R33. If I had a gf that could drive well I'd add her for sure. Modena
You guys dont have to let her drive... just do it for security reasons when: she desperately needs the car or you cant drive at all. Modena
you guys r retardedyou obviously dont trust them enough or are scared its only a car ffs, get over it Yeah exactly. My car is like 17 K big deal... if it was a 300 K Ferrari then different story. In all seriousness I am reluctant letting my GF drive it to the shops everyday but in a desperate situation, she can take it. ProphetR33
you guys r retardedyou obviously dont trust them enough or are scared its only a car ffs, get over it My GF has had 2 crashes due to falling asleep at the wheel and never driven a manual. Good enough reason to never give her my keys IMO. Kaz200
Pfft there's a good reason insurance is cheaper for girls than guys Of course that excludes 18yr old P Plater bints who drive around like tards in fluffy-seat-covered, dice-hanging, I'm-a-cool-s**t-stickered Festivas and the like..! They do nothing but make us all look bad with their scuffed wheels, dents and terrible parking skills and make my premiums increase. If my bf wants me to do 11ty billion errands for him or pick him up from work/station or anything else he doesn't get much choice about handing the keys over, esp if my car is off the road I actually drive the r32 more than he does, in fact I drive about 10-15000km+ more a year in either car than he does. My insurance is always based on his driving record too, esp since mine is blemish free, much unlike ctjet's I'm sure Bloody men, how annoying Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/165054-add-your-gf-to-your-insurance-policy/page/2/#findComment-3059863 Share on other sites
ctjet
as if judge me!!!1!1 Theres a difference betweeen reckless and dangerous... in future please make the distinction Thank you for listening, that is all Edited April 19, 2007 by ctjet Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/165054-add-your-gf-to-your-insurance-policy/page/2/#findComment-3059942 Share on other sites
mad082
Not a big fan of lending out the 33, it always comes back with no tyres left... the tyres usually wear less when someone else drove mine...... except my mechanic, then they would wear nearly as fast as when i was driving, but atleast i knew that he drove it the same whether i was in the car or not. as for insurance, i was through just cars and my insurance went up when i added the missus, cause i was a rating 1 and she was a rating 2. Im worried about her damaging me, herself or any other people in close proximity to us... talk about not thinking outside the box That's exactly my same fear. I couldn't care less about the car, hurting herself or someone else because she isn't skilled enough to drive a manual turbo car is the reason I'd never let her behind the wheel.
