why mount them out side when you have them inside, i don't get that. Especially when there under the car getting hit with rocks and covered in dust and water.

All the drawings i've seen from sard show the pumps inside the surge tank.

As t04 said, hard line it.

Being the hard lines are already there. Just have the plug into external pumps.

Then all you do is make a small shield and your away. The external pumps are made to sit external so there isnt a great issue there as thats how they are designed :)

Many people use them in that manner, and some cars even come factory with pumps external

Its just i think you will struggle to fit a 7.5ltr tank, imagine 4 - 2ltr milk bottles, there isnt a lot of room under a GTR rear end :(
