Help-rear Drivehaft Popped Out 1 Inch, Wtf?

Was trying to track down why the 4wd system was turning off on the GTR after about 5 mins driving ETS error 3 - right rear speed sensor error. Thought it just took a while to show up but now realise it was when I go around a roundabout or sweeping corner near home turning gently to the right. Found the following when trying to look at the sensor/wiring.

Any ideas on what causes this and how to fix it so that it doesn't occur again? I can't see any bracket/bolt that has come undone that allows it to move out from the diff, is there an internal retainer that may have come off, if not, what holds the driveshafts to the diff? The only thing done recently was I had a HICAS Lock bar fitted by workshop and noticed a few bolts left untightened etc, could the workshop have caused this?

Recent work in that area suggests you go back to workshop for a checkup.

Here it is.

It looks like the circlip that goes on the half shaft has been left out. Need to remove the half shaft and put one on then shove it back in and bob's your uncle.

Thanks for adding the photo Abo_Bob.

I got under the car and had another look, this is the corner that all the rubber boots in the driveline were replaced while they did the Lock Bar, good chance that was when the circlip was forgotten. Will call the workshop Monday and get fixed.

Anyone know if this is safe to drive to the workshop or is it a tow only, have to drive about 35 mins to the workshop that did it that is all?
