im thinking of buying this bov but i need suggestion.

Anyone got the Latest 2007 HKS SSQV Blow off valve? i need opinion on this latest model, can anyone tell me if it any better or worst then the previous one, any suggestion on weather to buy this latest model or previous one.

i was reading about it not to long ago, not sure if this applied to the older HKS ones but this one is RoHS compliant and environment friendly.

does that mean its legal? to have this BOV?

the flavour of the year is duck, so you'll hear a lot quacking this year.

i don't see how it can be enviro friendly, still vents the same air to atmosphere, unless they decided to put in some super filter that catches all the crap etc etc

Any BOV that vents atmo is illegal. Period

my goodness, at the levels of modifications the VAST majority of us have done, a/m BOV's are NOT NEEDED!!!

fark! keep the stock one, it's more than up to the task and BETTER.

i dunno man i notice a slight better spooling rate having a aftermarket BOV

i don't think you did. It may have just made it louder and sounded cooler so you may have assumed that it makes you faster. get urself on the dyno with the stock plumbback then change to ur atmo, and notice the no differnce in power.

    • Sounds like the solenoid might be cactus, if the solenoid trigger wire was still attached (and it was just the main power to the starter itself remove).     • I dunno man, that VX S with 200,000 k's is still hanging out for 1.5 I reckon the R34 is the better buy, personally.
