Performance Car Audio in Bayswater.

I think if you do a search youll find previous recommendations.

I went there for my alarm in my GTR and he did a mad job. Hell show you that theres no need for a 900 dollar alarm, and that simpler is better.

Definately knows his shit down there. Just give them a call and you will see straight away.

He is not a good alarm tech and simply reads off a cheat sheet.

Go to Stylin down the road, they actually know stuff.

Brett has installed both my alarms and numerous sounds systems in mine and mates cars never a problem..and i've never had a problem with his alarms..doesnt everyone read of the sheet lol I mean every alarm is different has different wiring etc..

Complete Options in Clayton south. Call Daniel on 0412 99 99 33. They specialize in imports, and fit alarms for most importers in the surrounging area. They can provide you with any alarm to suit your needs. Insurance approved, engine start alarms, paging, micowave/shock/glass break.ultra sonic sensors etc, battery back up, black wiring. and so on. Also provide acessories as window wind up kits, intergrate your alarm with your turbo timer. Also can provide onsite work too. Give him a call for all your automotive electrical needs reverse cameras, park sensors car audio. You can't go wrong. TOP Bloke.

They were doing a Ferrari the day I was there :thumbsup:

I had my GTR done there too. Great guy fixed my electrical fault too. Caused by a bodgy previous alarm install. Also installed my stereo.

Man, if he doesn't know his shit, I dont know how he installed a headunit in a 88 camry in about 15 minutes from when he sat down, till he was finished, at the same time as chatting to me/a few others and with no wire diagrams.

Also, he did the alarm in my Stagea which already had an alarm/turbo timer that was ripped out and all the wires rough, but he did a top job with no problems.

Not to mention the alarms on my friends Pierre, Sams and Will's cars. The stereo for my stagea, my camry, my friends silvia, my friends datto, my friends 200sx, my friends laser.

All TOP jobs, top gear and no worries.

Maybe you dont like him coz he's a bit of a bogan, but who cares man, he's a f**king pissa to talk to as well!

Well he is very professional, the work carried out in my alarm install was almost unnoticeable (which is good), and where you could see wiring it was very tidy and neat, which essential when it comes to any sort of wiring.

Who cares if he uses a wiring diagram or whatever, just as long as its done properly and works fine and is reliable why does it matter?

Yeah lol he is a pisser to talk to haha.

      Dunno what to tell you, when I look at it on Consult I can see this warmup timing map kicking in around 40C coolant temp and it sticks around for a while:  At part throttle on the normal base timing map it peaks around ~43 degrees of timing or something like that, this warmup timing map drops it to like 12-15 degrees.

      I don't think that's what you're seeing. Something else doing that. The only time I've seen it get so retarded is when it's trying to control idle (in which case we're not talking about mapped timing tagets anyway) and when there is an extreme coolant temperature sensor fault. The RB26 ECU is essentially the same as the 20 ECU and I knew that ging inside out. There is no facility for it to retard that heavily on cold start. The OEMs never used to do it back then. I mean, shit, the catalyst is abotu 3 miles down the exhaust anyway. Early light-off was just a twinkle in some EPA arsehole's eye back then, not a regular engine control strategy.

      I must preface my comments with a general expression of ignorance. I have no specific knowledge of these NA automtaic things. I can only assume that the "steering wheel button" is for enabling the tiptronic controls. Wierd that it would even need/want a button for that... But anyway.... Was the car previously tiptronic? Did you put a new cluster in as part of all this?

      Regardless, it doesn't seem wise especially on RBs to actually chase MBT. Timing scatter is the big one on stock CAS, even if that's fixed overshoot is worse than undershoot.

      It's all about reducing the overall output. Reduce the source of it, you have wayyyy less to deal with in every other step and trick you play with. It's why something like a modern vehicle, so VW, Audi etc, there's thousands of tables for the ECU to calculate what it should be doing with the engine.   Why would you NOT reduce emissions the most effective way possible, when it has very minimal tradeoff, AND manufacturers are always struggling to meet the current standards.
