R32, R33, R34 Rear Ends

g'day guys

quick question

r33 rear ends and r34 rear ends similar at all?

ie dimensions of cradle etc somewhat similar?

looking at transplant into older model nissan (hr31). 33rear end transplant has been done in the past.

I just put an R32 GTR rear end into my car Mark. Well not the cradle, cos I all the bits fitted into my cradle but that still tells you a lot. I still have a spare cradle if you want it, unless it's been thrown out...

Would be different to say the least & be interesting what it would look like.

imo i think the r32 rear would 'integrate' better with the r31 shape

i know someone that has put an r33 rear cradle into an r31 sedan, it fits but there is a little of the chop and weld.

R32 R33 and 34 are all similar, 33 and 34 are the same apart fom the shocker mounts. R33 are eye R34 are fork (no biggie)

R33 and R34 has better geometry bit like s13 vs s15 cradles.

the bolt up (floor locating) is about 5mm different from R32 to R33/r34
