Check this out.

damn it, makes my blood boil!

I work at a vet hospital, and I've seen some pretty depressing things done to animals over the years. I don't really want to go into detail, coz it just makes everyone upset. Personally I think it's more than likely these people have very low self-esteem. And it gives them a sense of power being able to beat up something, even if it's an animal that can't defend itself. It sickens me every time I hear something like this in the news, as 9 times out of ten they get off, blame it on intoxication, or at best, serve 3 months in jail. The world would be a better place without these people

It will be the same old story guys, they had a hard childhood, their mum denied them a toy or some other horse-shit reason. And if they got 3 months I would be very surprsed. We need to bring back police with balls, or allow vigilantes. Why not both....

What also made me angry is when, a couple of years ago, an aboriginal family in NT was swimming in a lake that was clearly marked as being infested with crocodiles. A little girl was taken by one. The family decided it would be a good idea to get a whole bunch of people and go out and kill crocodiles until they found the one that ate their little girl. I think something like 12 crocs were slaughtered in the end

sounds to me like those punks need to be chased too...just like they chased those 'roos.....

worthless pieces of shits......wasting our water and oxygen....

wasteing our water and oxygen ??????? what thats got to do with them clubbing animals?

i read in the herald sun that the council is targeting hoons a while back, but it related to people sleeping in their car's i didnt know sleeping your car would classify people as hoons.

haha wtf.....so i could be taking a snooze in my 1982 honda civic.....on the way to like NSWs or something....and even my excuse for taking a power nap wouldnt save me from being classified as a hoon??? thats just crazy....

well i suppose were all hoon's by what everyone's saying.

im used to it now

if your young and you got a car your a hoon

if your young and you got a licence your a hoon

if your car is kept clean your a hoon

everyone classes everything as a bloody hoon

umm...

clicked the link expecting to see cars doing burnouts and stuff but saw a kangaroo instead? :ermm:

i don't get it, aren't hoons the people who do illegal stuff with their cars on public roads? what the hell does that have to do with bashing an animal? :D

and all this time i thought i knew what that word meant... :P

even what you said is wrong...people that do illegal stuff on the road are hoons?

so you go 10km/h over the limit and you're a hoon? you don't indicate when changing lanes and you're a hoon?

    • Hi all, Restoring r33 series 1 rb25det. All the heater hoses were on their way out, have replaced them and put it all back together. After testing I noticed a small leak from behind the head on the actual metal water line to the turbo when cars warm. I tried running a longer hose over it but it kept leaking...   I am about to take the (stock) manifold off again😔 to change the water line does any one have any lines they recommend? I was looking at Aeroflow Turbo Oil & Water Line Set but not sure what everyone else recommends. Car is completely stock but want to upgrade turbo eventually. it looks like ill have to disconnect a lot just to replace these lines so if there's anything else recommended to do please let me know. Thank you in advance!
    • From memory, on the R33 GTSt at least, while everyone says "It's not adjustable", I found when I changed clutches in mine, it just needed a small adjustment on the rod length. But be very wary here, as you could end up trying to push the pushrod in the master too far, or blowing out the slave.   Most likely though, if the master/slave isn't bypassing internally or leaking out, then the throw out is the wrong height compared to the fingers on the clutch, so when it moves to disengage the clutch, it isn't 100% disengaged. You can check part of this out too by jacking the car up, having the engine running, put your foot on the clutch and try to engage 1st gear. If it goes in pretty easy (Compared to the ground) and/or the wheels start turning a fair bit and it takes a bit too much brake pedal to bring them back to a stop, this is likely the issue.  I'm not sure if you can adjust the height of the forks etc in these though, it's been that long since I've touched any RB gearbox.
    • That's all good, I thought I was missing some interesting feature! Maybe @PranK can double check if that is something that is meant to be operating or not.
    • I hope that is not something that bad. From what i remember he said that only first gear is "hard" to get in and that he has couple of ideas what to try next but idk 😕  hope it is not gearbox out. I will let you know.
    • If it's not the hydraulics, it is probably gearbox back out. Usually as per @Duncan's post, or otherwise associated with not getting the throwout fork positioned correctly. All the way up to catastrophically bolting shit back together without it being aligned properly and wrecking the clutch/input shaft/flywheel/something else.
