R31Nismoid
Become a member of a CAMS affiliated club, and that would be SAU-Vic See here http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=60590 Once you get that sorted, you can join in on CAMS days. AASA days are different (winton etc) but that can all be explained to you in due time and its not much more of a cost. So basically get SAU-Vic membership first, get the CAMS sorted, then hit the track Its nice and easy Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/166009-sign-me-up/#findComment-3179507 Share on other sites
Snowman
Lloyd, I'm guessing you are posting here as most of the EVO's you saw down at the WRX Club event are memebers of SAUVIC. The reason being we have in our club championship provision for an EVO Class so you will be competing against other EVO's. To get your CAMS license as mentioned all you need to do is join a CAMS Club and then pay your $89pa for a CAMS license. For your car requirements my advice is to go and see Jeff at Techsport (being an EVO guy I hope you know who that is) and Jeff will hook you up with all the little car things you need. He makes some great extinguisher mounts and can sort a bonnet restraint for you. You should be able to get everything sorted well in time for the next event at Winton on July 28th.
