New Power Fc Vs Older Power Fc

hey guys just wondering if anyone knows the differences between the newer and older power fc's.. is it just cosmetic? ( a shinier metal surface? or are there new features in it as well??

and has anyone installed the boost controller that comes with the power fc?? is it any good ??

I don't think there is any difference...

Unless you get the PowerFC SPL, which allows you to run a MAP sensor instead of an AFM...

I didn't even think the casings were different... I've owned both a new model and a now the older model, and functionally they're exactly the same, and as far as I could tell, looked exactly the same also...

Get an AVC-R for boost control.. They use the same solenoids between the PowerFC Boost Control and the AVC-R, but apparently the AVC-R has more advanced fuzzy logic in controlling the solenoid and therefore boost response/characteristics.

The hand controlers are different, you need the new hand controler, found that out the hard way.

I will know in about 2 weeks if the Boost its are any good.
