Quick Question : Rb20 Compatible Alternator

Had a hard time finding out even through googling! Must be getting 2 old!

Looking to replace my current rb20 alternator running in a 1992 R32 . I had a look on the unit itself and the brand looks to be Mistubishi , the model number is 70t16 i think?

Anyway if anyone can help me out by letting me know witch alternators would be compatible with my car? With as minimal mods needed as possible if not even a straight swap?

rb25 is direct swap.. should be able to get one for under $300 off somebody.

either that or get your rb20 one rebuilt for around $300.. look up 'alternator reconditioning' in yellow pages..

So Theo, did the RB25 fit? I am curious cos the alternator on my RB20 is on it's way out, HICAS/powersteering is screwing up and annoying as fck.

predator, did you have to modify the loom/plugs or anything to get the rb25 on the rb20??
