hey all

i instaled my SAFC2 into my Rb20det S13 silvia with R32 ecu also. i could not locate the throttle wire on the ecu to hook up to the safc2. everything work fine on the unit and the rpm signal is working perfect also.

my question is, if i dont have the throttle % wire connected, will it make it harder to tune or affect anything while trying to tune it? the wire i was meant to splice into isn't even in my wiring harness lol.

any help would be appreciated because i am having a dyno tune on tuesday next week.

that is incorrect, you need the throttle signal.....

when you tune the SAFC2, you tune for high and low throttle.. the safc maps differently depending on how far you push the accelerator.. it also interpolates between high and low throttle points for when its in between... You *might* be able to half-ass tune it with no throttle signal, but to do it properly you need it.

shit a brick, how do i find the throttle signal if there is no wire where is should be on the ecu????????
