Best Caliper Adapters

As per the topic who makes the best caliper adaptors for the HCR32, ive checked out UAS site im just wondering if there is others.

Also who should i order some braided brake lines from, im thinking maltech?

Lastly what would be the best fluid for the circuit?? Not endurance like track day stuff. Was thinking some ap racing stuff from somewhere lol

yeh can vouch for the rbf600 fluid i bbq'd my brake pads (they turned white and crispy) but but the pedal never went spongy just didn't do anythign lol it's good stuff, unlike my pads.....

Definitely Maltech, they offer ADR approved braided lines. I ordered a braided clutch line off them, and it looks top quality.

i would say nismo brake lines or APP are very nice. I've had maltec ones before and they were ok, but no sheathing on the line (i put some on myself though).

The UAS brackets and rotors are a proven thing. Just make sure your calipers and lines are in good condition.

Are the UAS brackets one piece each? Also roy what fluid do you use?

BB, how long ago did u have maltech lines i think the latest ones come with coated in plastic, not 100% though will have to give them a call.

The R32 UAS brackets are one piece. (280-324mm) The R33 are 3 pieces (296 to 324mm)

I have used the same setup for about 6 years and i dont think you will find a better arrangement without spending 3 times the money.

I also use RBF600. Its cheap so i make sure i regularly flush through 300ml. Its overkill but brakes are important and when the wheels are off the car i will give them a good flush with a full bottle and check the pad wear. The fluid is always clean so doesnt need it. I just do it as a regular inspection as i don thave anyone service my car regularly...so need to keep an eye on things myself.

You could use the much better Castrol fluid and get away with less frequent flushes. The stuff is around $120 a tin from memory. I have never used it, but it i know plenty of people that do. The only other fluid i have used has been the AP/Lockheed 5.1 which was good, but more expensive then the Motul

taking them off wouldnt be a problem, AU falcon dont come with them from the factory. I leave them on where possible but when i have upgraded my datsun they had to come off, never had a problem.

Thanks for the reply Roy, ill give the rbf600 a try first up. Is the brake balance affected much running larger front discs, does anything need to be done with the master cyclinder? My car has ABS if it makes and difference.
