Not sure if i put this in the right spot, but yeah..

One of My lenso Rims has a crack in it.. its about 2cm long, right on the ridge next to the tyre on the side that faces the car.. ie the side you dont see

I'm not driving on it at the moment, but was wondering if it would still be safe to do so, or if its possible to get it fixed.. If anyone knows any good places in Sydney to fix it, let me know!

Thanks!

you can get it repaired for anywhere from $50-$100. expect around $80. tempe tyres does it, but they jerked me around a bit last time. i'm sure most tyre shops either do it, or know where to send it.

Personally I wouldn't goto a tyre or wheel shop I would go directly to the source, "A Wheel Repairer", the tyre shop will only send it to someone else and charge you more for it.

I had a whole set of rims fixed for $200 all gutter rash and any chips welded up...

and again another rim that was cracked I took to him and after he had a go at repairing it, he showed me where someone previous had a go at alloy welding it and heated it too much which in turn made the metal brittle and unrepairable (due to shrinking and expanding metal), since he couldn't fix it, he didn't charge me, what a nice guy, now I'll take all my wheel repairs to him, not that I expect to see more.

I bent a TE37 in a major way, and quite a few places I took it to say it was unrepairable.

Neale Wheels in South Strathfield repaired it. As 75 Coupe says, a lot of tyre shops who "repair" it just send it somewhere else. Neale Wheels actually do the repairs.

That's good to know ^^^

I've bought bits and pieces from them before; but never had to repair a wheel - yet.

Good to keep me in the loop.
