Not sure if any one else has this but what does the SFC mean. Its located below the rear windscreen wiper, little black sticker with sfc writting on it.

Also the spoiler up spoiler down button, wtf does this do???? i have never seen these buttons on a r33 gts-t.

Dude,

SFC stands for Super Fine Coating - it's to do with the paint etc...

The late series 1's and series 2's (I think) had SFHC - Super Hard Fine Coating....

Spoiler up/down button is for some skylines that had an automatic front spoiler.

The button would make it go up and down if you've still got the factory spoiler on it. And I 'think' it may have auto mode where it comes down over 70-80km/h - can someone confirm this?

J

If it has the buttons it was fitted with a front spoiler at the factory. This operated automatically in as much as it comes down when the speed goes over about 70 or 80 kph and goes back up when speed drops below that. The buttons are a convenience to assist with cleaning. They only work with the ignition off and if you have it in the down position it goes back up when you start the car. It's not much to look at but is quite effective at stabalising the car at high speed

    • Yeah was thinking that. I've had the car go lower idle possibly around 650rpm every once in a long time after pouring fuel and would sound quite rough like a misfire, almost like it's shit fuel or something but who knows.
    • @Wazmond you are correct, my bad, was not my intent    https://www.facebook.com/share/15ZMn5oXtc/ Updated Event (so its not private and can be shared easier)  Attempting to coordinate a big push of Stagea's to this years GTR Festival. Great event last year and hoping for the same this year.    I've emailed them to ask to set a location aside for the Stageas for the show and shine - they are happy to do so if we can get them numbers, I'm happy to keep track of that. Entering as Nismo category.    I'll be road tripping up from Melbourne, would be cool to convey if people are interested, maybe there is SAU convoys from each capital? If you have ideas about that let me know.    https://gtrfestival.com.au
