Thanks for the replies all.

I have been around to a few yards and just by talking to them you get to know what they are on about.

There are a few yards I would NEVER go back to, ever again.

At least Tuff Toys have been open, honest and upfront with costs, times and viewing the car. (I have not driven it, nor do I want to, yet)

Heck, some yards I went to did not even bother talking to me. (Yup, I'll go to the yard in T-Shirt, shorts and thongs)

Thats how I have bought 12 or so brand new cars (And our house) If they treat me right, I will buy a car from them, if not, they just lost a cash paying customer!

So far the folks at Tuff Toys have been decent to me and the wife.

The only thing the wife is a little worried about is warrenty on a $40,000 Skyline.

PS: For all those who have offered me in private their own cars, thankyou for your time. (The wife has decided she likes this car, and all those who are married will know that when your partner puts her foot down concerning cars, it's final.)

Besides, who would argue about a R34, black with only 10,000 kays on the clock? (And yes, looks like it too!)

Agree with the above-mentioned comments about street machines. I had them trying to slog me a 91 GTT with 50,000K's on it, for a price that was too cheap. Seemed sus to me.

Dragon - youre just whipped

As an aside - It doesnt matter where you buy your car, it could break down on the way home, mechanical things fail, and the car yard may have had sufficient mechanical work done on the car, but if its working, you cant fix it. If it breaks on the way home, it wasnt broken when they had it, and you cant always blame the mechanic/car yard. Sometimes you can.
