Painting Calipers and bits and pieces.

Guest SKYLNE

I need some help as to what sort of paint I should use for painting brake calipers, I would like to paint the caliper red and the Nissan logo white, does anyone know what the best paint is for doing this? Also, I would like to detail a few things in the engine bay (like the intake and possibly the rocker cover) once again what is the best paint to use? This is for an R33 GTS-T Skyline. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks. :uh-huh:

I used high temp engine enamal for the calipers and glued sandpaper to a flat block of wood and run that across the nissan symbal it stands out really bright

Sanded rocker covers back to 1200 sandpaper then croacus cloth and then buffer wheel for mirror polish :D:mad:

Hopefully pics up by tonight

do u spray the end of the caliper u dont see, like on the other side? or do u just spray the thing to cover the whole caliper?

**** i must be annoying with these questions but if i screw anything up when my brother comes back from overseas he will murder me.

Fellas,

I painted my calipers as per the SDU instructions a while ago.. turned out ok, will have to redo pretty soon as they get pretty dirty with brake dust and stuff. I'd recommend while you have the wheel off to spray the wheel well black with some sound deadener. I think it makes a difference to the noise you get inside the car...
