Recommended Posts

I posted a quesiton here:

http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=99783

but realsied its not the place ot ask quesitons.

So....

those of you who have installler a boost controller, Have you also installer an apexi AFC II and an o2 sensor? In order to eliminate lean/rich running and flat sports around 3-6k rpm?

Or have you simply installed this mod without any further problems?

Cheers

Geraint

It wont fully resolve your flat spot problems with the safc..

it will however aid you a bit more, and fix up your mixtures, so it wont run as rich..

02- sensor-- probably only needed if yours is really that bad.. Just take yours out, and clean it!!

02 sensors decompose with age and need replacing. doubt servicing would be worth it

in my experience, 02 sensors don't play part of your a/f ratio's when you WOT. also i'm under the distinct impression that narrowbands aren't accurate enough to tune your car to

Yeah just get a new 02 sensor, mine was screwed when i got my car tuned after i got my SAFC put it and it kept causing inconsistant dyno runs. It would run something then 5 secs later the max power would drop or increse.

Hey

Have just been through all of this sort of stuff after installing Hi Flow turbo...

Coils

SAFC

-16% fuel etc..

Boost controllers

Fuel Cut defenders

and more

Went to HitMans and had a "safc" tune, $180 and all was sorted in 20 mins....

Left with 215.1rwkws and all is way good.

PM if you want more details.
