Gtr Diff Into Gtst

I have in my hands (if i want) a gtr rear diff....wil this fit into a 33gtst and will it be an improvement

Yeah i would like to no the difference to, are these mechanical lsd's or viscous types?

No difference unless you're likely to smash the gtst one.

well yeh my gtst one is dying hardcore, single spinning heaps so wondering if the gtr diff is any better if not i will shim my diff until i can afford a good one

To put it in you need also the GTR drive shafts, cv's, and hubs. The housing itself bolts straight in. Also need to reuse your input shaft as the GTR one has a different bolt pattern and wont bolt up to your yoke and drive shaft.

I have a GTR mech center in my 32 with apparently nismo 5bolt axles. Its quite streetable and twin wheels everywhere unlike the vlsd. BUT Drop a little burnout or inspect the black marks leaving a corner in second and you can see its spinning wheels at a different speed. Its 11ty billion times better than the crapo vlsd's.

While its out sinista, have Boss automotive tighten it up a tad, they are fairly loose from factory. ~$200-$300 to shim + setup back lash.
