hi ppl jus wanted to ask your opinions as im planning to by a set of second hand s15 front discs 5000km old and i have a friend whoz a tool maker to cross drill and slot them for me do uz think its a good idea? can you do this to standard discs? is the performance gonna be worth the hassle of doin it? how hard do uz think it is to remove and change the disc rotor on the car?

Hi SXU28T, don't drill 'em, just slot 'em. They will crack out from the holes. R & R a disk rotor takes about as long as changing a flat tyre. Jack it up and remove the wheel as usual, but instead of R & R the spare tyre from the boot, you R & R the calliper and the disk. Piece of cake, check the pads while you are at it. You should really put some new pads in, since the the disks will need to be skimmed after the slots have been put in.
