R32 Turbo Upgrade Using Standard Manifold

hey guys, wanting to upgrade from standard r32 turbo, thinking of using VG30 as it has metal exhaust wheel, what boost would be safe to run through this turbo, thinking around 15-16psi, do they bolt straight onto standard manifold?? do many people run these turbos on rb20det, what sort of powerfigure would i be looking at?? thanx 4 your help..

As stated in many other thrads the vg30 is a lag monster on the rb20, rb25 turbo will get you close to the same power with much less lag. If you want to run more boost get a highflow.

yeh but r33 turbo still has a ceramic exhaust wheel

then if you want to run more that 12 - 14 psi go for a highflow or something else.. it all depends on your power goals...
