Seat Belt Retractor Problem

did a search and couldn't find anything on this problem. basically, whenever the car is facing up a hill, the drivers seat belt wont come down. as soon as you start facing down a hill, it retracts. i test drove an r32 gtr a little while ago with the same problem. is this a common skyline problem, or am i just special any help would be appreciated

pull gently? you could probably source another one and change it and see if its any better...

it wont work any better, its a safety device. If anything when you buy a new one it will work more effectively. Just park on a level surface or do like the above and pull on the belt gently.

I thought most people had this figured out sometime around age 8 or 9 if not earlier

no matter how gently i pull, it wont give. i am stupid, but not retarded (not that i'm implying you meant that)... guess i'll just have to park down the hill, uber gay.
