Exedy Clutches

hey guys n girls

im looking at getting the Exedy 5 Puk button clutch kit... and was wondering if anyone has had this in their car ?

The clutch will be going into a RB20 S13 with 226.6rwhp

any experiance appreciated

pretty much any exedy or xtreme clutch is good

and your output power shouldnt kill the clutch

low to mild power is good on these clutches

anything high would just fry them

Hey mate I've got an exedy button clutch in my gtr32 and I hate it. I am gonna get jim berry to build me a clutch cos the exedy one is just a bitch for every day driving.

does it slip or is it just hard 2 drive in traffic ??

cause i dont mind if its a bit of a s**t in traffic i just want it to hold the 250rwhp im after while taking a smashing out at wanneroo ...

used to have one in the R32 GTS-T and it was fine in traffic, bit stiff and bites early with minimal travel, hooks up the power straight away

i have a 5 puck exedy in my gtr 307 @all 4 and it is fine in traffic and showing no signs of slippage after a few hard clutch dumps

Mate of mine over here in Adelaide is Xtreames sales man, give them a call, thier clutches are the goods! They can tell you what clutch to go for, and be able to tell you where to get them from in WA, If you decide to choose the Xtreame! The owner even has a 34 GTR himself!

Yup, i run a xtreme chromolly flywheel & drift spec puck clutch on my 32 & it has been really good & strong,tiny bit bitey on the street but you get used to it!!

Good service too you can even ring up tech support & work out what suits ya car & what youre doing with it...
