welcome man

not to hijack your thread, but on friday, i too purchased a skyline and became a part of the family :woot:

i bought a Black 1991 Nissan Skyline HR32 GTs-T for 10k. i got a bargain, considering the parts that are on it. 17 inch Advan rims, full tein suspension, strut braces, aftermarket turbo, apexi pod, greddy turbo timer, apexi boost guage, some unknown internal work, full catback exhaust from turbo to 6 inch tip etc. etc... theres more :(

thats my baby in my avatar :P

It has ALWAYS been illegal to drive this on P plates, for the last 15yrs at least. But now the penalties have changed, instead of a slap on the wrist ($100 fine only), they have increased the fine to $1000 and you loose 3 dimerit points. This comes in, in July and expect cops to start to enforce it, as it now is a decent revenue raiser :(

This is what gets me. How the f**k can P platers get away with registering the car in the first place? Shouldn't the RTA pick it up there and then? Or are they not putting it in their name?

Clearly it's just a revenue raiser which is bs! Good luck to all driving 33's and 34's on their P's. I feel sorry for you guys!

Oh, yeah nice car you got there! :woot:
