Very sad but you have to wonder why they were crossing the course in front of a car. its not like they wouldnt have heard it coming

it is sad, ppl can hear the cars coming but cannot judge the distance of how far away the car really is and with the speed the cars are travelling you have no reaction time to avoid an accident.

thats why you should always stick to spectator points and cross the stage and designated areas

thats sad and all, but really, crossing the road during a rally is asking for trouble. some people have no idea. the spectators were the reason why the group B cars were banned....

What everyone has missed is that the spectator wasn't crossing the road during the rally. The unfortunate woman was killed when one of the group N cars lost control BEFORE it had reached the start line of the stage. Two other people were also hurt. For the record the driver was Gonzalo Alenaz.
