welcome aboard mate.

yeah, Skylines are unique, very stylish and is well regarded as one of the best sports cars out there.

you'e made the right decision mate.

With around $13-$15k, I think you can either get a R32 GTS or a R33 GTS-T ... that's about it... I personally suggest you should go for a R33, there's a few good ones out there on the market but make sure you look around and get a good one.

Good luck mate,

No worries mate... we're all here to help others as this is the main reason this forum was set up in the first place.

But yeah, as most forumers will tell you, before you post another topic, do a quick search first as it limits repeats of the same topic over and over again.

But yeah, if your money, I'm sure you can pick up a fairly descent R33 GST-T. If you look hard enough, you might even find a good one with some goodies (mods) already in there for you. Just gotta be patient and look around mate.

Drop me a PM if you want with some links / pics etc of the cars you're looking at and I can certainly give you some pin-points if you want bro.

Good luck with it.

hey mate and welcome to SAU..

if u have 13G's to spend i would say try and find a good r32 Gts-t. i piked mine up for 11 with a few mods and am very happy with it. make sure u find out insurance cost before u jump into the skyline sence.

when looking for a good skyline, things u need to at are.. of course the engine and Km's it has travelled.. ask if the has receipts for any of the mods or if they have the import papers. Also loook at the wear on the stearing wheel, hand brake and gear shift knob as this can give u a good indication of how used the car is. if the have replaced all these with aftermarket parts then there could be something up.

any ways back to the 13G's. u can defiantly find a good r32 for that much and u wil have some money left over.

good luck

mate, look around you can even get a very decent series 2 r33 gtst for 13Gs these days. and don't listen to people telling you "nah no way you cant get a good r33 for that much it'll probably be a bomb" believe me don't listen to that. just gotta look around and be patient.

forget about R32 mate seriously why the f**k would you spend 13Gs on such an old car when you can get a R33 - newer, lesser Ks, better engine etc for the same price!!

your money though get what you like best i guess,

good luck :(

Nicely put mate. Yeah, R32's are ok, but they're too old now and they look like a box on for wheels - but then again, look carefully because with R33's - you got two variances. 1) nice looking beast, 2) a fat whale. so yeah, look carefully.

Regards,
