Hey,

Friend wants to buy a car mainly for track.

Which would be better for track racing;

R32 GTS4

or

R32 GTST

GTS4 is heavier but has 4wd which wont be as easy to lose control. Although the gtst has less power loss in the drivetrain as its only rwd..

Any opinions would be great.

Thanks all

- Patrick

depends how much power you want to push out at the track, you can go fast with rwd (Roy goes super quick in his 32gtst) but if you're going to make good power then 4wd helps get it to the ground on exits at the expense of extra weight....

2WD GTSt is the pick for the track.

We have eight or so running in the state series down here (Tassie).

Speaking from personal experience, the GTSt is an even a better option for the track than a GTR... if you've going to try and keep to any budget!

The GTSt was actually reeling off faster times than the GTR (set up for tarmac rallying) and one could be put together at a % of a GTR build cost.
