sik14
hey, im havin dramas! my 33's basicly standard engine wise. pod filter, zorst, front mount and boost tee. i was running .85 bar and it was running fine. after about 3 months of no probs it started to get a flatspot down low. i replaced the plugs and fuel filter but it didnt really help. a few weeks later it got worse. now when i plant it theres a big flat spot then it sounds like its hitting boost cut, it coughs and then pulls hard as if nothing wrong all the way to the redline? ive just been winding boost out of it and the problem doesnt go away until im down to 0.5 of a bar(7psi)? why wouldnt i be able to wind it above stock boost???? anyone have any suggestions or had this problem before? me-------> <-------- my car Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/167823-wtf/ Share on other sites

People have answered these sorts of questions a fair amount, so they usually can't be bothered giving a decent answer Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/167823-wtf/#findComment-3104719 Share on other sites
siddr20
I basically had the same problem. Runnin 0.8 bar.. Realised after a while, the boost tee opens up a bit. As in, i recckon the hole gets a tad bigger, so you end up running more boost than previously set. I noticed after a month or two, that the boost went above the 0.8 bar to 1 bar. Had huge flat spots, and was just shit.. So i turned my boost down to 0.65-0.7 bar, and seemed to worked well.. No flat spots at all But then again, all i got is, full exhaust, pod.. basically everything else is still stock.. Running rich will also contribute.. Best to get your car tuned if you can afford it.. Let me know how you fix your problem.. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/167823-wtf/#findComment-3104786 Share on other sites
