Lazy-Bastard
Just wondering if a bigger burnout will give me a better 60'/ 1/4 mile time. My current method is to just dump it in 2nd and feather the throttle until it grips up. If I do a brake stand and hold the revs at say 5000 in 2nd until they really start smoking, am I likely to get a better launch and 1/4 time? I have my 60' down to a consistent 1.8x on Federal SS595's....can this be improved via the burnout. What are other peoples burnout techniques? Lazy-Bastard
LOL, I'm not really complaining, just wondering if there is any improvement to be made with a big burnout. If not, I'll just keep using the same method. Necx0
I would say no mate, street tyres aren't designed to work well with a large amount of heat in them. I would say keep going with your "soft" burnouts Tried launching in first though??? Obviously more wheelspin but if you nail it I reckon it would improve the time..... LOL, I hope that was a joke.... I don't launch in 2nd, I do my burnout in 2nd.
