Hey,

Have you got a multimeter?

Check the voltage going to the pump after you turn it on, and then in 2 min when it's noisy.

It the voltage drops, do the rewire thing ^ with the relay etc.

I just earthed the - wire from the pump and took it for a drive the problem started again, when I got home the pump just stopped.

When I turn the key on the pump won't pre-charge the lines and the car won't start either now, I ran a wire to the pump directly again and it ran fine again, so must be something else in the pump circuit or the ecu.
