depends the gaurds are only $600 bucks from us, the rest of the gear is up to the shopper customers have got away with that sort of price fitted and painted.... it all comes down to who you know and who has stock of r34 parts. The last one we did is cruising the streets of frankston.....

Where did you get theat price and info from? do they custom cut the front bar of your choice?

Question for you too URAS, Do you custom cut front bars for this purpose and able to send interstate? I'm in adelaide. The R34 GTR Ju bar rules.

Just another thing... if i do buy these gaurds from you, do i then have to find special r33 to 34 front bars or do any R34 front bars fit it because of the gaurds?

guys i have your answer.

i been speaking with a place that imports the conversion kits to go from r33 to r34 front end. the kit includes headlights(original nissan), front bar of your choice, m sport fenders or r34 1, r34 bonnet in either c/f or f/g, grill and template for the hinge mountin position.

cost $1900. i was amazed as most places sell these kits for like 3400.

if u want some more info let me know

lol i think you maybe have your quote wrong

any way, im set on doing this conversion on my car, just ran into a but of money troubles lately (dam sneaky bills :domokun: )

one thing to make sure of is that you may need to get custom bonnet latches made, some kits may come with ready to bolt on latches but quit a few dont, i

m just buying the r33.4 fenders, i have my cousin out looking for second hand headlights, and i havnt decided on a front bar yet, but it will be after market, and im also going with a cf bonnet

guy in the ACT just had his done and the lights alone cost $1600... It cost him 11,000 painted including labour so would like to see the 1750 kit.

username is Style32, he won the most innovative bodykit at this years autosalon.

just wondering to the ppl in this thread that said they can get parts from suppliers

so to clarify....you get 1) R34 front fenders to replace ur old ones to suit r33

2) Genuine Nissan r34 headlights

3) R34 bonnet stock or aftermarket

4) R34 front bar stock or aftermarket

and all these parts come in fibreglass to bolt on or u have to customize brackets and other things to fit

also are you guys talking about R34 GT-T or R34 GTR

pics attached are from other thread ...obviously the front guards wont be the same but u get the picture

    • Yes...but look at the numbers. There is a tiny tiny fraction of the number of Joules available, compared to what is used/needed. Just because things are "possible" doesn't make them meaningful.

    • Somehow Vertimass/Oak Ridge National Labs has figured out a catalyst that can convert ethanol into C9-C10 hydrocarbons in basically a single step without ending up with a bunch of ethylene or similar waste products: https://patents.google.com/patent/WO2023224867A1/en I still don't think anything like this will keep us from needing to transition to EVs regardless along with all kinds of other electrification, but things like this will go a long way towards alleviating the problem of how to electrify things like planes. Renewable diesel is seemingly an easier problem as well, Chevron is already running refineries for the stuff and the primary feedstock is tallow and other waste fats from agriculture.
    • Ok so I have sorted everything with my uniclutch and  i can offer up a bit of feedback and some things that might help others.    I found problems with factory damper line. Weird shit and had trouble with peddle adjustment    I used this https://au.gktech.com/products/r33-gts-t-skyline-braided-clutch-line?_pos=2&_sid=22b01b9b9&_ss=r Also when adjusting peddle leave a bit of play. You can get into a over stroke condition easy.. Make sure you can push the slave forward after adjusting to confirm fluid can return to master then you will need to pump it up heaps…..not sure why but that’s how it is.    last thing the splined adapter is machined perfectly. If your input shaft is old like mine was I would put a bit of valve grinding paste on it and stroke it like a 15 year old. Just to give it a tad more clearance and to better match it to the spline.    reason is on a near flat shift I have had situation where the peddle returns a millisecond after you lift from the clutch. No slip or anything but I reckon this is due to tolerance on the spline being way tighter than stock clutch and binding for a sec. I think this will go away but also my spline was old. Box is old so I guess I should have checked better. It’s a super neat fit.    it feels light as and holds awesome without any noise
