R32 Gtr Passenger Side Earth Strap

Can someone out there with R32 GTR goodness in the garage please remind me where this earth strap attaches to the engine. I'm talking about the narrow braided ribbon, one end of which screws to inner guard near the shock tower. The other end has a self tapper but i can't remember where it goes.

hmmm, i wonder how important this strap is? mine looked pretty dodgy (dirty and stuff) and when i did the turbo, i haven't bothered to put it back on yet I don't really seeing it as grounding that well on a rusted out exhaust manifold anyways. Maybe I might put in a better one.

yeah mine disintegrated completely on teh exhaust end ..

but it must be there for a reson .. same reason as the volt stabiliser/earth kits

i took a pic from the engine manual, but i cant upload it ... it bolts into the bolt on teh front turbo cover on the bolt that is closest to the strut tower

found it! actually screws into a flat face on the rear turbo and also holds a bracket in place. GTRs are earth sensitive apparently so I'm playing it safe.

doubt that busted old rusty thing will do much. If you're worried, install a new earth. I'm gonna do that when I get the time.

You could always just find a place on the block to screw it to
