Magnetic P Plate

Ok quick story, got pulled over for not having a rear P plate.. well I told the story "it fell off" because it really did..

I had a backup Magnetic P plate which I really didn't wanna put on, but I did because it made the cop happy.

So I put it on and forgot about it for a couple days. When I removed it, it left a discolouration on my car.. kind of like when you put your hand up onto glass and remove it it leaves a misty mark for a little bit then fades.

But in this case... it didn't fade, didn't wash off..

Can anyone recommend anything? I'll get a photo tonight if need be.

go buy a cut and polish from a store... Mcguiers or something... should get rid of it...

that, or ask a detailer on here what he would use, but thats what i use... works a treat for shit like that

that said i used to use a magnetic P plate way back when .. and it never left a mark, so its either your specific one or the surface wasnt clean or dry when you applied it
