Running 34 GTR rims on a GTT here. Sitting at 355mm front 355mm rear ride height. No lipping. Minor scrubbing on the inner plastic guard but only on full lock and going over uneven ground.

Additional... no issues with TCS, or speedometer contrary to what is heard of these forums. Does stick out a few mm from the front however - so may be a legality issue there.

thanks for all the valuable tips... yup just got hold of my GTT and I'm enjoying life a little more :)

will put up pics once its worthy to be shown

They will fit depending on the tyre size. I dont have a pic of a 34 but I have one of a 33.

so 9" fits at the front... hmm. what about 18 x 9 +18 or +21, not the best offset, but would it be OK?

wrxhoon, are your rims just rims or rims/tyres?

are GTR rims forged?

Thats not my car in the pic, I took that in Osaka in December 2004. If you look on the windscreen you will see the price in jap yen.

I have a set of rims for sale ( just rims ) GTR tyres wouldn't be suitable for a GTT .

R34 GTR rims are 18x9, 30 offset and they are forged, very strong and light for the size at around 9 kg each.

i've heard it's not the best to run the same width rim all the way around? but then again, factory GTT rims are 7.5"... maybe it refers to when you're getting quite wide, like 9"

or is it that as long as you have wider TYRES rear to front, it's ok?

i suppose this is coming from a steering/handling stand point...

From a handling point of view, fats on the back. But no dramas having the same width all way around - just make sure you ditch the factory piece of crap Potenza rubbers though.

These pics are a little out of date... had the car lowered slightly since then.
