ok, so im pulling my engine out in the garage and everything is disconnected except the right front driveshaft!

the left one was simple, was just a case of undoing 6 bolts from a coupling next to the dif, however on the right side of the car it seems to be a splined shaft going into the diff.... how do i disconnect this one?

cheers

Take the front right wheel off & un-bolt centre hub bolt & the bottom arm. Dis-connect tie-rod end & the whole assembly should swing away, usually bringing the front-shaft with it unless you actually hold the shaft & help it slide out of the hub spline. Should hopefully make sense when you're actually looking at the parts

Good Luck

You really need to punch the shaft out of the differential housing. There is a recessed ring in the inner CV joint.

If you try and use the hub to pull it out, you risk separating and / or damaging the CV joint.
