Too many track days stops me being able to afford some much needed hp.

Silver,,,it's a bit hard to explain but yes slotcars do have brakes,,,It's all about your motor's torque and braking only comes into effect when you get right off the throttle,,,,Ha Ha I'll be doing a lot of that on Thursday.

Dan,,,any chance we can get them to cut 8 slots in the track,,,,.

But seriously,,,,what time should I get there and if it rains (Please NO) should I use my street tyres. Duncan HELP!!!!!.

You'd be surprised just how much fun E/Creek is when it's wet.

You just drop the speed and go to more sideways action and it's THE MOST FUN way to learn car control !

Love the rain, its been a while since we had a wet day actually.

7:30am - Arrive early so u can choose your garage and get yourself setup (remove any loose items, change tyres/brakes, etc, etc).

8:00am - Marshalls will check over your car (well walk past and look at it pretty much).

8:30am - Drivers briefing (everybody must attend) and that takes about 15-20mins.

9:00am - First cars will be on the track (group 1 - ie most experienced/fastest).
