Tein Super Street

Hey guys,

Can anyone post a picture of their R32 GTS-T (prefereable with 18" rims) that had TEIN super streets (with upper mounts) that has them set at there absolute lowest setting (front & rear)... I am considering buying a full setup but I am concerned that it won't be low enough.

They go plenty low enough! Any lower is just silly - unless you're a fan of scraping and scrubbing?

The rears will get to about 330mm center to guard on the original springs, fronts get to about 315.

They are supposed to go 330mm all round at the middle of the thread. they don't. You only have 50mm of adjustment too.

get some 250mm springs and helpers for the rear if you want to go lower.

Or just get some flex's as they have more adjustment.

^^ I dont really know much about suspension and most of what your talking about there makes no sense to me.....

where you say original springs, isnt the coilover an all in one unit the replaces your springs etc? or do u mean the spring the coilover comes with?

I really would just like to see a 32 with them fitted and get a real idea of what it will look like.

This is with super streets on lowest setting and 18" rims. PM NathR32 on this forum for more info... it's his car.

I think he said he got a quote for lower springs that could be fitted to the coilovers but i don't remember the details.

from what ive heard jap spec vrs aus spec .. jap spec goes lower .. aus spec doesnt to keep ride quality or some shit

Hey guys I have had extensive experience with TEINs before guys.

The coil overs come out at 100mm from the ground, so out of the box they are street legal height. You can lower them about 30mm from the factory preset height.

Jap spec and Aust spec ARE THE SAME for the most part. At the end of the day they are Super Street coil overs.

the Aust spec are just more comfortable due to their customer valving for Aust conditions. And the Aust spec have a 24 month warrenty.
