Arp 2000 Rod Bolt Torque Settings?

Hi guys, just need a bit of info if you can help.

I bought some rod bolts and the paperwork included suggest that you torque them to 75ft lb which is approx 102NM which seems too much to me considering standard bolts torque to half of that, what are youe views?

I would be asking ARP this question. The makers of the bolts who should know everything about them.

It is right, thats the reason your using them, the clamping force is so much better than the OEM items.

BE sure to use the lube provided as it does make a difference to load your putting on the stud.
