jrocket
Just use a degreaser and get in there with the pressure cleaner and blast the crap off. Just dont spray the electricals on purpose. When i did mine i just used the pressure cleaner carefully and cleaned the engine and engine bay down. But you just want to avoid aiming the water at electrical stuff like plugs etc as it might force water in the plug causing you a problem later. I would maybe let the car sit for a bit afterwards to just let the water evaporate. 95SKY
Go to repco and purcase degreaser in a black bottle 5 litre and the fluid is pink its the best degreaser ive ever used its very strong the brand name moto guard it think? not to sure, but its pretty cheap aswell, cover all your pod filters if you have one and also electricals, spray on and leave soak for a few minutes and hose it off ( at the carwash of course due to water restrictions ) it brings it up pretty clean i havent done mine in about 2 yrs now and its still pretty clean in the engine bay hope this is some help to you Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/168560-engine-bay-clean-up/#findComment-3135517 Share on other sites
