An Odd Question

I'm attempting to lease my GTR. The leasing company that my company deals with requires an import to have a compliance plate. But my GTR was brought in under the 15year old rule and thus doesn't have an aussie compliance plate.

Just wondering if I am able to get compliance for my car? I told you it was an odd question.

well both of the 15yo cars I imported had compliance plates fitted when I had them complied so it is definately possible for a 15yo car to have a compliance plate. but I do understand lots of 15yo cars were complied and rego'd without having a compliance plate. I would say it will be hard to get one for it now considering it's already been complied.
