Painted Engine Cover - Er34

Anyone painted the engine cover of the ER34?

Thinking of doing mine and would love some pics for inspiration.

what colour .. take a photo of ur engine as is and then use hue and saturation in photoshop to edit the colour .. then use curves to make it shinny .. presto what it will look like a different colour .. problem is you lose the coloured writing unless your damn good at masking!!

Am thinking blue colour. This is how it looks like now.

Worried about the lettering as well.

I know what it looks like ive got one haha

now use photoshop to change it .. if you remove it underneath you have rocker covers etc these also can be painted and make it very "engine looking"

or polished .. but I like the plastic cover makes it so much neater
