Is this limited to members with Skylines? Or can the few members with non Skylines also enter and maybe have a section for the “Others”?

This event is definately not limited to just Skylines.

There are quite a few members that drive other cars, like myself, B-man and his rotary, Neil and his freak of a car, fatz and his excuse of a car... so you are definately not alone.

What track damage Corinne?

Everyone else track damage..

People seem to think this is only for show type cars but It's not.

Im putting mine in and its only a daily driver.

Well actually there will be many unofficial categories just like that. We have a lots and lots of stuff to give away. I remember last time we actually ran out of time to give all the stuff away there was so much. haha. You'd almost say it was unlucky if you didn't win anything.

Yeah, maybe we need a new category, "Best Track/Drift/Race Event Damage" - Duncan would win hands down though I think..

Haha that was Marks car..

Duncan and Kel's was the only that didn't look half bad

Registered........both for the event & membership.

One question though, how do we confirm that our rego & payment has gone through. Is it emailed or do we get it on the day?

New to this so don't know the process.

Ooo this looks sweet! me and some mates will be in for sure...Im gonna have to be real cheap to get some moneys for my car in the next few weeks, does it matter if its nothing special? I just wanna jump in and get some ideas for my car while im at it too!

u can have the most modified/special car there or u can have the most standard car there. it doesnt really matter. its all about socialising and like u said getting ideas from others.

I'll get an email with your details in it tomorrow and I'll reply so you know I got it ok.

And yeah Razo, participation. We're trying to get a massive pile of Skylines together just to impress ourselves. I promise you will have fun. We've done this twice before and everyone had fun.

    • You would probably do a lot better in a claims process then most people. When I called the insurance company, they were surprised I read the pds because according to them almost no one does lol.
    • Yeah it should be, but I wouldn't be surprised if the insurance company tries to pull some argument out of their ass to avoid paying you out.
    • On some cars like MR2 Turbos they're notorious for not letting the wastegate open far enough to avoid overboost, especially certain cheap downpipes. If adjusting "percentage cycle" fixes it then it's just an electronic control issue, not a hardware one.
    • Same.  It's depressing to say this but the skyline can go months on the charger between drives.
    • I often leave mine connected weeks at a time. The main one I use is the old model of this, it has 2 important features - choose battery chemistry other than lead acid (most of mine are AGM) - power supply mode which you can use to try and recover dead flat batteries as "smart" chargers often don't recognise a dead flat battery is connected https://www.projecta.com.au/products/IC10/intellicharge-10a-bat-chgr The Ctek I  use was meant to have a battery test mode as well but it doesn't work 100% of the time so I am pissed at them. The distributor did everything possible to make warranty and support difficult so I'll stay away in future. The main thing with a "trickle" charger is it has multi stage programs, ie once the battery is full it turns the current right down to just maintain the charge....in the old days we just used real "trickle" chargers for that which had a maximum output of say 500mA which was safe to just leave connected to dumb old lead batteries.
