Rb20det Rod Journals

Hi,

I have purchased pauter H-prfile rods for my RB20DET. But when I looked for ACL racing bearings, it notised that they where some place between 41.961mm and 41.974mm. But when I messaured my rod journals they were 44,96xmm.

Where can I purchase main and rod berarings?

RB20's do have a smaller journal, CA18 bearings are the same as RB20's but you'll need to buy 2 sets and end up with some spare bearings.

Thats what I thought. Just baught 2 sets of ACL calicio coated race bearings.

Theyre not the same. Has the same messaures, but the alignment mark is not on the outside, but 1mm into the bearing

The bearing measurement is the same as the big-end journal? Standard specification bearing thickness is 1.502 -1.506 mm, so 44.96 (big end) - 2 x 1.5 (bearing thickness) = 41.96 (bearing inner diameter / big end journal)
