Would like to know what produces more torque (and what parts of the rev range)? Just say i was after 350awkw on my 32 gtr which i mainly use as a weekend warrior (heaps of hill climbs, few tracks, etc). Would a correctly sized single turbo be better off than a pair of 2530's for this sort of application? I have read some good threads debating single vs twin, but wanted to be more specific about the different torque curves both these setups produce. Any feedback would be appreciated

Cheers,

yeah, correctly sized single vs correctly sized twins there should be no difference in torque or power. just perhaps the single may have better transient response as the rotating assembley will be a little lighter (I think).

it all depends on the relationship between the trims and the housing sizes, in a perfect world both can be made to react the same its just a matter of application.

With careful planning mega torque mega response, mega power can be done with both singles and twins, unfortunately none can provide all three.

there is always at least two ways to skin a cat, and neither are necessarily better than each other, they are just differrent routes to the same result.
